With 25 repair stations at the Brewton Facility and 15 at the Bridgeton Facility, we can give you flexible, "fast-track" scheduling of minor repairs, modifications, heavy repairs, and rebuilds.
Both shops are AAR Certified for tank car repair, alteration, and conversion to Tank/Freight Cars, Qualification/Re-Qualification of Tank Cars, Office Manual Rule 88 and Heavy and/or Wreck Repairs/Modifications, Application of Reconditioned Wheel Sets, and Mounting of Reconditioned Roller Bearings to Wheel Sets for Interchange Service.
Both shops are supported and fully-stocked warehouses, and all repair stations are serviced by overhead bridge cranes. On-site thermal stress relieving equipment and in-plant X-ray capabilities speed up turnaround. In addition, each facility has special door straightening equipment and tie-down stations for straightening car underframes.
