Our Quality Assurance Program applies to the functions permitted by the Association of American Railroads in accordance with MSRP M-1002 for a Class C, F, G, L, & Status Code 9A certified facility. The classifications include:
  • Repairs, Alterations, and Conversions to Tank/Freight Cars
  • Qualification/Re-Qualification of Tank Cars
  • Office Manual Rule 88 and Heavy and/or Wreck Repairs/Modifications
  • Recondition, Repair, or Retest Tank Car Service Equipment
  • Remove and Replace Tank Car Service Equipment
  • Install, Qualify, or Repair Interior Linings and Coatings in Tank Cars that carry Corrosive Commodities
  • Application of Reconditioned Wheel Sets
  • Roller Bearing End Cap Removal and Reapplication


We review our Quality Assurance Program annually for the assessment of opportunities for improvement, and to evaluate any changes that could affect quality. Our review includes;
  • The quality assurance program objective (as compared to actual performance)
  • Program outputs (i.e. rework, inspection results, process capabilities, and performance)
  • Preventative and corrective actions status
  • Quality program effectiveness, Audit results (internal and external)
  • Feedback from customers
  • Improvement recommendations and follow up actions.
